- On Tuesday, Aug. 18, the ICEE Company celebrated its first National ICEE Day by giving away free small ICEEs at more than 1,800 locations nationwide while supplies lasted.
- Popular frozen drink brand ICEE, an American favorite for more than 60 years, created this new tradition to thank fans for their long-standing loyalty and support.
- Participating Walmart Fuel and Krystal locations offered free ICEEs without purchase, while AMC Theatres, Regal Cinemas, and Urban Air Adventure Park locations required a ticket or admission to redeem.
- Customers entered the ICEE Day Challenge Sweepstakes by sharing a story on Instagram or Facebook using #NID2026 and tagging @TheICEECompany for a chance to win prizes including an "At Home ICEE Machine."
- Dan Fachner, CEO of J&J Snack Foods, said he is "excited to introduce an annual tradition" to celebrate generations of fans who made ICEE part of their lives.
