A man from Hastings has been sentenced to just under five years following a ‘nasty assault’ in Epsom, police have said.

A man has been sentenced to just under five years following a vicious attack on a woman in Epsom that caused her to fall unconscious.

38 yer old Aaron Bailey from Hastings, was sentenced to four years and ten months in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of robbery, one of which happened in London. His sentences for both offences will run concurrently. The offence in Epsom happened in April 2024, when Bailey followed his victim from the train station before attacking her from behind.
