NASA completes solar panel installation for Roman Space Telescope
Los Angeles CA (SPX) Jul 14, 2025 Technicians completed the installation of solar panels on NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope on June 14 and 16, marking one of the final stages of observatory assembly. The six-panel system, known as the Solar Array Sun Shield, will both power the spacecraft and protect its instruments from heat.
