A 20-year-old Myanmar worker suffered severe injuries after her hand became trapped in a meat grinder at a pork shop in Bang Bua Thong district, Nonthaburi, on 11 September. Rescue teams from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation and Bang Bua Thong municipal emergency unit rushed to the scene. It took about 30 minutes to dismantle the grinder and free her hand before she was taken to hospital.
