"My world has collapsed": IS's former hostages and their loved ones tell their hell

In the trial of alleged jailers of the Islamic State group, in the Paris Special Assize Court, the speech was given to the former hostages for the second consecutive day, Thursday, 20 February. The court heard in particular the Italian humanitarian Federico Motka, kidnapped in March 2013 and detained for 14 months with his British colleague David Haines, who was murdered. The latter's widow and his two daughters gave poignant testimonies.
