The CMO, the umbrella organization for Muslims in the Netherlands, has established a national online reporting center to record attacks, threats, and vandalism against mosques. Mosques and Islamic councils can report incidents; the police have already received reports of 414 cases of anti-Muslim discrimination, 20 of which targeted mosques, by 2025.
Mosque boards are getting their own national hotline for incidents involving Islamic institutions. Starting Sunday, they can report threats, vandalism, and graffiti, among other things, there. The Contact Body for Muslims and Government (CMO) hopes this will provide a clearer picture of how often such incidents occur.
