National treasure Dick Van Dyke—now 100—played the titular character at age 55, and Marvel Wolverine Hugh Jackman took his turn at 54. Since its Broadway debut in 1957, “The Music Man” has become a musical theater classic, although in recent decades it’s been consigned to high school and college productions. So at 69, the show gets a well-deserved glow-up in the M&T Bank Broadway in Syracuse production onstage at the Landmark.
