The head of the National Security Bureau (BBN), Bartosz Grodecki, announced that he had asked the Ministry of Interior and Administration to send a written report to President Karol Nawrocki after making findings regarding the murder of Russian Robert K. in Biała Podlaska.
If this was indeed an execution, it concerned a specific individual, and certainly no such actions will be directed against the residents of Biała Podlaska, Paweł Zalewski, Deputy Minister of National Defense, told RMF FM. According to the politician, the government's actions have improved security. "It's not like the Russians are doing whatever they want," Zalewski said.
Fear intertwined with a need to return to normalcy—these are the feelings prevalent among the residents of Biała Podlaska following the murder of a 44-year-old Russian citizen. It turns out that few people knew Siemion Skrepetski. "He seemed so different, so detached from the reality of Biała Podlaska," says one resident of the apartment building near where the execution took place.
The circumstances surrounding the murder of the 44-year-old Russian are under investigation. "This matter is being treated with the utmost seriousness, as it also affects Poland's security," emphasized government spokesman Adam Szłapka.
