Monsoon mayhem in Thane: 2 injured as building gallery collapses, houses damage
Heavy rains in Thane left two people injured and caused damage to homes. A gallery collapse in Wagle Estate injured two passersby, leading to the evacuation of an entire building. In Panchpakhadi, a fallen tree damaged two houses, while another balcony collapse forced residents from three rooms. The city experienced widespread disruptions with numerous tree falls, waterlogged areas, and wall collapses.
Another wall collapse has occurred in Mumbra area of Thane due to heavy rains. Panic spread in the area after a large portion of a wall collapsed in Sanjay Nagar area of Mumbra. 3 nearby houses were damaged in the accident. Fortunately, no one was injured or killed in the incident. A major disaster was averted as local residents rushed out of their homes immediately.
