Multiple residents are displaced after a fire broke out at a Richmond apartment building on Monday afternoon.

Large Apartment Fire In Altoona Early This Morning

Altoona firefighters were called to the scene of a large apartment fire this morning at Colonial Plaza Apartments at 7th Avenue and Burgoon Road.  The fire was called in around 1 this morning and while crews are still at the scene we have received word the fire has been contained.  The apartment building has sustained major damage and about a dozen residents have been displaced.  A state police fire marshall has been called in to investigate.
