The local mandate, affiliated with Morena, reported that the decision applies to all levels of education in Mexicali through her Twitter profile X (Twitter).
The tremors were recorded between 00:36 and 02:25 hours, with an epicenter in Imperial County, California and were felt in Mexicali, Tijuana and Tecate.
