Three months after the incident, on the afternoon of May 27, the 'mud stream' erupted again, spilling onto the sidewalk and roadway on Cat Linh Street while digging the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station metro tunnel.

Local residents said that at around 3:00 p.m. on May 27, in front of house 25F Cat Linh (near the tunnel excavation site of the Nhon - Hanoi station metro project), mud suddenly erupted from underground, nearly 1 meter high.
