ROME, Ga. (May 7, 2025) -- Making their inaugural appearance in the National Invitational Tennis Championship (NIT), the Morgan State men's tennis team faced a tough challenge against Saint Mary's. Despite a valiant effort, the Bears were ultimately defeated, bringing their season to a close. The victory propelled the Gaels into the NIT semifinals, allowing them to continue their pursuit of the championship and extend their 2025 campaign.

ROME, Ga. - In their first ever NIT appearance the Saint Mary's Gaels pulled off a dominant sweep over Morgan State to advance to the semifinals and extend their 2025 season. Thibaud Maxant/Carlos Ramos and Finn Dyer/Pierre Lieutaud took the doubles point for the Gaels in straight sets, 6-1 6-3. Three of those four names would go on to win their duals and clinch the 4-0 sweep for Saint Mary's.
