3 members of MS-13 street gang plead guilty in 9 killings in New York City suburbs

A high-ranking member of MS-13, Jairo Saenz, pleaded guilty to racketeering and other federal charges in a case involving seven slayings, including the 2016 killings of two high school girls.
Jairo Saenz, originally from El Salvador, faces 40 to 60 years in prison and will be sentenced on June 13.
Prosecutors stated that Saenz was the second-in-command in a gang clique known as Sailors Locos Salvatruchas Westside operating in New York.
Acting U.S. Attorney Carolyn Pokorny described Saenz's actions as 'barbaric, and multiple acts of senseless gang violence that had turned parts of Long Island into a war zone.
