The key list for the CHP Party Assembly has been released. Özgür Özel's 80-person list includes current members and 31 new members, taking shape as the party's new leadership takes shape.
The CHP's 39th Ordinary Congress is underway. On the day CHP Chairman Özgür Özel's key list was announced, a surprise guest took his place in the hall.
Following the 39th Ordinary Congress, CHP Isparta Deputy Hikmet Yalım Halıcı issued a written statement announcing that he had not applied for candidacy for the Party Assembly and that he had no prior requests for candidacy. Halıcı stated, "I am proud to have been one of those who contributed to our party's rise to the top of the party since the November 4-5 Change Congress."
