Moyock collision claims life of pedestrian - The Coastland Times

On June 19, 2025, at 12:16 a.m., the North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to a fatal collision involving a pedestrian on NC 168 near Commerce Road in Moyock in Currituck County. A white 2014 GMC Acadia traveling south on NC 168 collided with a pedestrian walking northbound in the southbound lane of travel. The special needs pedestrian, 18-year-old Shailee Bachar of Moyock, died at the scene. No charges are expected for the driver. READ …
