MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) - The Mount Pleasant Police Department is investigating a string of car break-ins that occurred early Saturday morning in the HarborGate Shores neighborhood. A resident saw someone breaking into a vehicle and called the police. The suspect took off on foot when officers arrived, and a short chase followed.
