A warning has been issued to motorists after a QR code scam appeared in Abbott's Yard Car Park in Darlington.

***Parking Enforcement advisory from Walnut Creek Police**** Our Parking Enforcement team has noticed Amazon stickers being posted on parking meters throughout the downtown core area. Please do not scan the QR code placed on meters as it could be a scam. The City of Walnut Creek only accepts QR payments that are printed on the citation itself.
