Motorist rams stationary truck after chase on A12, warning shots fired

A man who had stolen a car in The Hague drove it, chased by the police, along the A12 to Arnhem.

A police chase that started in The Hague only ended 100 kilometers further, when the driver on the A12 crashed into a stationary truck and another car. The driver tried to flee, after which officers fired warning shots.

At the Velperbroek junction near Arnhem, a long chase on the A12 ended when a motorist rammed a stationary truck. After firing warning shots, the driver was arrested.
