Motorcyclist hits speed camera during emergency call and is seriously injured

A motorcycle police officer was seriously injured on Friday evening while on his way to an emergency call in Geldrop. The man lost control of the steering wheel on the Gijzenrooiseweg and crashed into a speed camera along the road. Several ambulances and police cars came to the scene of the accident. According to the police, the man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. It is not clear how the accident could have happened.
