Motive of the failed murder of schoolgirls in La Calera remains a mystery: PDI says the exact motive "is under investigation"

The Court of Guarantee of La Calera today decreed – Tuesday, April 1st – the provisional placement measure for two minors who were formalized as perpetrators of the crime of robbery with frustrated homicide, illicit recorded on the morning of Monday, March 31st, on the outskirts of the industrial high school “Óscar Corona Barahona”. At the formalization hearing, Judge Roberto Lizana Mora also set the investigation period at 90 days.

Two persons are held in detention in units of the Homicide Brigade, which seeks to confirm or rule out their participation in the crime; one is a 15-year-old adolescent and the other is an adult with an existing arrest warrant.
