- Singh targeted locked houses during the day, breaking doors and safes with an iron rod, and mortgaged 82 grams of stolen gold for Rs 4,73,000 at a gold loan branch.
- Authorities seized gold jewelry weighing around 200 grams, more than ₹100,000 in cash, Singh’s motorcycle, and the iron rod linked to the offenses, with Singh confessing to being a repeat offender involved in burglaries.
- The police returned the stolen property on August 28 and urged the public to secure belongings and not trust online personas without caution.
