Tiffany Meek in the Dock for Her 11-Year-Old Son’s Murder
FLEURHOF, GAUTENG, SOUTH AFRICA, JUL 14 – Tiffany Meek faces multiple charges including murder and obstruction of justice after her 11-year-old son was found dead near their Fleurhof home, with more arrests possible, police said.
- On 14 July 2025, Tiffany Meek appeared at Roodepoort Magistrate's Court facing charges related to the death of her 11-year-old son, Jayden-Lee Meek.
- Jayden-Lee was reported missing on May 12, 2025, following his arrival home from school, and was discovered lifeless the following morning in Fleurhof, southwest Johannesburg.
- Police arrested 31-year-old Tiffany Meek on 11 July 2025, and Deputy Minister Polly Boshielo said more arrests might follow as investigations continue.
- Boshielo acknowledged that the situation was challenging and noted that they faced significant criticism regarding their handling of the case and the duration required to achieve progress.
