App State Softball saw eight players named National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar Athletes for the 2025 season. App State has seen at least eight players receive NFCA academic honors each of the past four years.

Katie Murphy named All-America Scholar athlete

By JAMES BROWN WCLU Sports Former Barren County softball player Katie Murphy was one of 13 WKU softball players named all-America scholar athletes. The NFCA revealed its Easton Top 10 GPAs for its collegiate divisions recently, with Hilltopper softball tying for the sixth-best GPA in the country.
