While the Kutztown outdoor track & field season technically begins this Saturday for the majority of the program, freshman Dain Lenz (Earleville, Md./Bohemia Manor) and senior Owen Weaver (Baldwinsville, N.Y./C.W. Baker) headed south during KU's spring break to compete in the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational, hosted by Coastal Carolina.

BALTIMORE, Md. (March 18, 2026) --  The Morgan State men's and women's track & field teams will open their outdoor season this weekend when they travel to Myrtle Beach, S.C., for the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational, set for a 3-day meet from March 19-21 at the Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium. The meet is hosted by the City of Myrtle Beach, and the competition begins Friday with the men's heptathlon and women's pentathlon.
