With his latest album, the singer tops the British album charts for the 16th time – and thus surpasses the Beatles.
Singer Robbie Williams achieved a historic fact in British pauses by overcoming the Beatles and becoming the artist with the largest number of albums first in the United Kingdom. Launched on the last six-day (23), "Britpop" stared directly at the top and became William's 16th solo album leading the ranking (which ended up with "Life Three to Lens", in 1997) — an unprecedented record in the history of the country's pauses.
