More than 10 million trips have already been paid with credit, debit and prepaid cards

The use of these cards already reaches 10% of the train trips and in March 2025 214,286 trips were made using this means of payment, according to information from EFE Valparaíso.

The opening of means of payment in the transport already generated a change of habit in the users, who began to pay with debit cards, credit and prepaid, seduced by the bank promotions and Visa and Mastercard. Between January and March more than 10 million payments with plastic were processed in the public transport, which revealed that the users decided to take advantage of the promotions that returned up to 100% of the tickets.
