PSD approved this Wednesday the lists of candidates for the legislative elections in May. Several ministers appear in prominent positions as top of the list. Montenegro goes for Aveiro.

PSD announced the organization where eleven ministers from the current Government will be at the top of the party's list.

The Prime Minister, Lus Montenegro, will be number one in the Aveiro circle.

The Minister of State and Foreign Affairs, Paulo Rangel, will be number one for Porto, and the Minister for Finance, Joaquim Miranda Sarmento, for Lisbon.

The president of the Social Democratic Party (PSP), Luís Montenegro, will head the party's list for the constituency of Aveiro to the Assembly of the Republic in the early legislative elections on May 18. Also noteworthy are the eleven ministers who are also part of this list released this Wednesday. The Minister of Economy, Pedro Reis, will be the head of Castelo Branco's list.
