Late night storm wreaks havoc across Owatonna

A storm Monday night that ripped through much of southern Minnesota and cause nearly the entire city of Owatonna to lose power has left its mark — notably on trees in residential areas.

By Jed Nelson Monday’s storm brought mostly tree damage to several areas of Austin. Todd Park, East Side Lake, and Sutton Park all had full trees down.  It was reported that 4th St. SW/NW going east to 218 south to 21st St. NE/SE received some of the stronger winds.  In some residential areas on either side of East Side Lake had full trees down.
