Moncton, Dieppe, Riverview approve $59M police budget for 2025

The 2025 budget for the Codiac Regional RCMP, which increased by $9 million over last year, has been approved by the municipal councils of Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview, the policing authority said Tuesday.

The Codiac RCMP detachment will receive an additional $9.36 million in 2025, bringing its budget to $59 million. The City of Riverview was the last to approve the request for an increase of nearly 20% on Monday evening.
