Lyles Scorches to Comeback Win, Alfred Conquers 100m

MONACO, JUL 12 – Noah Lyles won the 200m in 19.88 seconds overcoming injury doubts, while Emmanuel Wanyonyi set a meeting record of 1:41.44 in the highly competitive 800m race.

Noah Lyles fired a warning shot at contenders over the 200m at the world championships by scorching to victory in the Diamond League meet in Monaco on Friday as Julien Alfred notched up another win in the 100m.
