Prime Minister Vasile Tofan thanked the United States for the $130 million grant for the construction of the Străşeni–Gutinaș power line, in an interview with the US Embassy's business manager in the Republic of Moldova, Nick Pietrowicz, on Saturday. According to the Prime Minister, the investment will strengthen the country's energy security and support the integration of the Republic of Moldova into the European energy market.
