The European Union (EU) announced today that it has imposed sanctions on seven individuals and one group linked to Moscow, accused of trying to destabilize Moldova ahead of parliamentary elections scheduled for September.
The European Union has imposed fines on seven persons related to the prorus oligarhu Iran Ór and A7 affiliated to Moscow, accusing them of attempts to destabilize the Republic of Moldova before the September legislative elections. The measures include freezing of assets and travel bans, in the context of an EU strategy to combat Russian influence in a country considered vulnerable to the hybrid war.
