Shortly after making his reservation on Booking.com, he was scammed via the booking site's official chat function. The Spanish hotel ‘Mola Suites’ turned out to have been hacked, and scammers lured him into a trap via a fake payment link. “I still haven't received a response from Booking itself,” Mohamed told VTM NIEUWS.
