NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway after a 3-year-old child reportedly shot themselves with an unsecured gun Monday afternoon in The Nations neighborhood. 3-year-old in critical condition after accidentally shooting themselves, according to MNPD

Metro Nashville Police say the child was upstairs taking a nap when the shooting happened. The child was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle.
