Steve Smith scored his first fifty of the season as Washington Freedom recovered from 19-3 to defeat San Francisco Unicorns by five wickets. Smith's 56 and Mark Chapman's 44 guided the chase after Jack Edwards' superb 4-13 helped bowl out San Francisco for 126, sending Washington to the top of the Major League Cricket table.
