OPP recover body of Timmins snowmobiler missing since April

The Ontario Provincial Police has recovered the body of a 40-year-old Timmins resident who had been missing since April.

(SOUTH PORCUPINE, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has located the body of a missing snowmobiler on Horwood Lake. On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, members of the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit (USRU) and the Northeast Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) located the body of the 40-year-old Timmins resident who had been reported missing in April.
