Shlomi Banai, 38, from the TNA, entered the Sea of Galilee with a SAP on Wednesday afternoon, and has been missing since. This morning, his body was located after scans conducted by the maritime police, alongside hundreds of volunteers who came to help. His sister told Channel 12: "A strong wind caught him and he was swept away."
The search has been ongoing since Wednesday for Shlomi Banai, 38, from Tel Aviv, who fell from a scooter into the Sea of Galilee and disappeared. Police forces, maritime police, inspectors from the Kinneret Association of Cities and a helicopter from the air force took part in the search operation. This morning, his body was pulled from the water, and an MDA paramedic was forced to declare him dead at the scene.
