Winter weather advisory in place for Hamilton County until Wednesday morning — possibly 6 inches of snow

The National Weather Service released a winter weather advisory at 12:25 a.m. on Monday valid from 7 p.m. until Wednesday 7 a.m. for Hamilton County.“Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches,” can be anticipated according to the weather service. “Lake effect snow bands will mainly affect far northwest portions of the county, mainly north of Route 28.”

On Sunday at 3:14 p.m. EST a winter storm warning was released by the National Weather Service valid from 7 p.m. EST until Tuesday 7 a.m. EST for Missaukee County.The weather service states to be ready for, “Total snow accumulations between 4 and 8 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph Monday resulting in considerable blowing and drifting snow.”
