Minnesota youth invited to weekend of free fishing
Minnesota residents can fish license-free when accompanied by a child 15 or younger during the three-day ice fishing event, with vehicle permit fees waived on Jan. 19.
- On Jan. 17, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources announced Minnesotans may fish free statewide Jan. 17-19 when accompanied by a child 15 years old or younger.
