Following the submission of the framework law, signed by 360 individuals, to the Turkish Grand National Assembly, the Ministry of National Defense stated that "The Turkish Armed Forces will continue to take all necessary measures to ensure a lasting environment of peace and security."
AK Party Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala, regarding the "Turkey without Terrorism" process, said, "Turkey is ending terrorism, establishing mechanisms for the liquidation of the organization and the surrender of weapons. If we have brought Türkiye to this point, if Turkey has reached the stage of being completely free from terrorism, the greatest credit for this belongs to our martyrs and veterans."
Following the National Security Council meeting chaired by President Erdoğan, an eight-point statement was released. The statement highlighted the progress made towards the goal of a "Turkey without terrorism," while also calling for peace in the context of the US-Iran tension and the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
The Ministry of National Defence, in a briefing session, stated that the "Terror-Free Turkey" vision is a strategic step contributing to regional stability. The statement also included updated data on border security, defence industry deliveries, and international missions.
