SPEYER. The Rhineland-Palatinate FDP elected its chairman Daniela Schmitt (52) as the top candidate in the state parliament election on 22 March 2026. According to the election commission, 151 out of 193 valid votes were taken by the Minister of Economics from Alzey at the state representative assembly of the liberals in Speyer.
