Minimum salary: CUT officializes proposal and asks for increase of 12% this year and that amount reaches $1 million to 2029 - La Tercera

The negotiation of the minimum wage between the government and the Central Unitaria de Trabajadores (CUT) is in its final stage.This is because the proposal should be settled before May 1st and then discussed in the National Congress.For the same reason, last Friday the workers' representatives made a presentation to the ministries of Finance and Labor.

The multi-union officialized its proposal before the government, to which it presented two plans: one for this year and one for 2030.
