Unlawful expenditure and possible conflicts of interest have been found in Masterplan Zuidoost. A prominent program of the Amsterdam city council, to which millions of euros of tax money are spent annually.

In the Southeast Master Plan, 1.9 million euros of municipal funds were spent unlawfully between 2021 and 2023.
