On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, a persecution was recorded in the city of Laredo, Texas, which was led by elements of the Texas Department of Public Security. The persecution ended when the occupants of the vehicle tried to flee across the Bravo River to reach Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, and thus avoid being captured on Mexican land. The subjects who were involved in the events were undocumented migrants.
