MiG-29 fighter jet crashes near Agra, pilot ejects to safety; probe ordered

An Indian Air Force MiG-29 fighter jet crashed near Agra on Monday (Nov 4) during a routine training sortie due to a "system malfunction", the IAF said.  During the incident, the pilot manoeuvred the aircraft to ensure no damage to life or property on the ground, before ejecting safely.  Further, the IAF issued an inquiry to ascertain the cause of the crash.
