Midway Ice Rink steps up to host first semi-pro hockey game

The Park City Pioneers matched up against the Reno Ice Raiders at Midway’s inaugural Winter Classic on Saturday, marking the first ticketed sports event at the Midway Ice Rink and a second-night win for the Pioneers.  The game was a victory for both the Pioneers and the Midway Ice Rink, which has never hosted a semi-pro caliber event in its decades-old history.
