MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- The City of Midland reported a $6.846 million sales tax collection for the month of May, a record 16.07% increase compared to May 2024.  The record collection is partially due to an audit adjustment of approximately $707,000 in the city's favor.
