Middle River man's child sexual assault case will be dismissed after successful probation

MARSHALL COUNTY, Minn. — A Middle River, Minnesota, man will serve no prison time for sexually abusing a minor, and his case will be dismissed, if he successfully completes 30 years of supervised probation. Now 39, Adam William Steinhauer will be 69 years old at the conclusion of his probationary period. Steinhauer pleaded guilty in February to his sole charge of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
