Microsoft plans mobile game app store to rival Apple and Google
Regulators around the world are embarking on investigations into the Activision Blizzard acquisition announced by Microsoft in January 2022. Once these investigations are over and the Activision Blizzard acquisition is completed, Phil Spencer, who is responsible for Xbox, which is Microsoft's game brand, told the financial times of the economic paper that Microsoft has plans to open a mobile game app store from the Xbox brand in 2024 as well.
